Baggaley and Jenkins Ltd was recently nominated for one of the prestigious Housing Excellence awards in a ceremony held at Mere Golf and Country Club in Cheshire.
More
than 600 of the country's leading housing professionals
flocked to the 2006 Housing Excellence Awards
in May. Established in 2004 by the leading
industry magazines Northern Housing, Southern
Housing and Midlands Housing, all part of the
Excel Publishing Company, the awards aim to
celebrate those who have distinguished themselves
over the previous 12 months in both the social
and private housing sectors. Baggaley and Jenkins
Ltd was nominated for the continuing high quality
of the rebuilding and refurbishment work the
company is carrying out at the Hopewell Farm
Estate in Ilkeston - currently the focus of
an extensive, £20 million, three phase regeneration
project being undertaken by Three Valleys Housing
Ltd.
“It was a great tribute to be nominated in the
category of Best Social Housing Scheme,” said
Baggaley and Jenkins Ltd’s MD, Stuart Caddy, “and
a credit to the abilities of our people on the
ground who have taken such trouble during this
long and complex contract to ensure the needs
of individual tenants are taken into account".
“We have been delighted to exceed expectations in this area, with Baggaley and Jenkins personnel widely accepted by the estate’s
tenants and owner-occupiers as a friendly,
courteous and efficient team.” |
